• MASSABDA - The Massachusetts chapter of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association.
• MIT Ballroom Dance Team - The official site of Massachussetts Institute of Technology's Ballroom Team - The team hosts its own collegiate competition, the largest in the nation.
• ISTD Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance - The organization that determines the syllabus steps for International Ballroom Dance and provides accreditation for ballroom dance teachers.
• USABDA - United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association. Contains the USABDA College Network, a list of USABDA-sponsored competitions, competition results, and the USABDA rulebook.
• IDSF - International DanceSport Federation with rules, and schedules, for the IDSF-sponsored competitions, as well as world rankings of competitors.
• NDCA - The National Dance Council of America is the official governing body for dancing in the United States.
• USISTD - The United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, US national branch of the worlds' leading dance examinations board - ISTD.
