Belly Dance Classes

After a thorough warm-up, you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to execute the movements. All the body is involved in this dance, from head to toes, even your fingertips, with a characteristic emphasis in the trunk and hip movements.

This class is designed for students with little or no experience in the ancient art of Raks Sharki (commonly known as Belly Dance).
This program introduces the fundamental movements of Egyptian Belly Dance, including accents, undulations and vibrations as well as traveling steps.

Belly dance is the perfect exercise to help you get toned, improve your coordination and posture, feel good about yourself and have fun.
But it is much more than that: it is a true art form.

Please, wear comfortable clothing, be prepared to dance barefoot, and bring a scarf to tie to your hips.
